I have just recieved a automated message from someone to let me view their tree i have not sent a message to them and deleted my tree from this site well over a fortnight ago any ideas? |

No idea why it's happening but I've had two sharing their tree with me in the last couple of days and just deleted them. I haven't a clue whether they think we have a connection or anything. Glad its not just me!! Sam x |

It could be that they are previous contacts who are still trying to work out the new Contacts screen and have been clicking on the tick and/or the X under the 'Can they see your tree?' column without knowing what these buttons do. None of my Contacts were able to see my tree before the GR update. When the update took place, I'd say about half of my contacts were suddenly able to see my tree. I think it was people who I have been in contact with, but had previously deleted the contact. If my tree was visible to them at the time I deleted them as a contact, that's how it's come back when the contact reappeared. It's a bit disconserting to say the least! Chris |
