Linda, You had another thread on this earlier today. Where did it go? I posted the birth details and said the image said St Marylebone. Rose

I think the census could say St Marylebone for birthplace. Gwyn

Technically St Mary le Bow is London City registration... I have not checked the full index but the one in Marylebone is the only one that comes up on free BMD. Gail. x

Oliver Gibbs is shown on 1891 Census as 13 years - born St Mary Le Bow, London. Civil Parish: Shoreditch. On trying to find his birth I can only find Oliver Gibbs born 1878 Marylebone. Whilst I can see the similarity between Mary le Bow and Marylebone I didn't think Marylebone was Shoreditch, can anyone enlighten me please.
