Redden - Staffordshire

Does anyone know if there is such a place as Redden or something similar in Staffordshire. This is from a birthplace in a census record. The person concerned was living in Burslem. ........Thanks for any help.

Hi Reg, its the following 1871 RG10; Piece: 2850; Folio: 98; Page: 34 - Burslem John Birch in the household of a family called Mayer. Thanks.

Mmmm........tricky. It looks as though the person filling in the form wasn't very sure.........Almost like a 'P', rather than an 'R'.........but I'm sorry I can't see anything that seems to fit.............. Reg

There is a Ribden in Staffordshire which was at one time recorded as Wrebedum
