My husband always thought he was an only child until we discovered that he had three half brothers from his Dad`s first marriage, which we never knew about. I put the details on Curious Fox and received a message from the grandson of the eldest of the three brothers.Sadly his grandfather had just died but we have met his son and family, and are now still looking for the other two half brothers. |

I think it's a super site and have recently renewed. Have made several very useful contacts. Sometimes a reply comes months afterwards so don't give up. Marie |

I have had two really good results, not from relatives but from other people with in an interest in the location and with info regarding my family. One was a local historian who had found a survey undertaken by the local vicar in 1828 & 1838, which included details of my family. Another gentleman remembered my Gt Grandfather and used to service his baker's van. He was able to describe him in great detail and tell me a little about his business. So all in all, Curious Fox has been very good for me. Helen |

I love Curious Fox worth every penny. Have only been with it a year, but have been contacted by so many helpful people, progressed with my tree and expanded my Christmas card list! |

I've had one good contact. Also I like the facility for getting a list of nearby places...you put in a place name and then can get list of places within certain distances...and old and new maps. Useful if you don't know an area and looking for possible baptisms. Joan |

I joined 6 months ago, really good site. Needs to grow a bit. Made one really good contact (so I thought) regarding part of the family that I've had problems with. Promises of lots of info and photos sadly have come to nothing, despite several prompts. Felt a bit disappointed though. |

Hello, I joined it a couple of years ago for a fiver. Made only one contact though. But contact was distant cousin in Canada, we met when she came to UK and have swopped photos and stayed in touch. Worth it to me for a fiver. Good bit is it comes up when you google your own message. Hope that makes sense. Selena |
