I know this sounds stupid, but is it easy or hard to get a death certificate as Im thinking of getting some. Much appreciated. Yvonne

Once you have found the GRO death reference it is no more difficult to obtain than any other cert. BUT finding the death ref can be more difficult unless it was pre 1901 census, when if you have found them on one and not on the next, at least you have a possible time span to work within.

Dead easy!.....sorry lol You can buy them on line and will only cost you £7 if you have the ref numbers. http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ Gerri x

Very easy. You can order all birth, marriage & death certs from the GRO. If you have the GRO reference they are they £7 and can be ordered on line. Never pay more than this.
