I've found a Robert Cox aged 10 as a visitor in Sidbury Devon. Name: Robert Cox Age: 10 Estimated birth year: abt 1841 Relation: Visitor Gender: Male Where born: London, England Civil parish: Sidbury County/Island: Devon Country: England Street address: Occupation: Condition as to marriage: Disability: View image Registration district: Honiton Sub-registration district: Ottery St Mary ED, institution, or vessel: 8b Neighbors: View others on page Household schedule number: 14 Household Members: Name Age William Barrow 15 Robert Cox 10 John Hawkings 19 Elijah Maur 15 Elizabeth Maur 20 Esther Maur 55 Harriott Maur 12 Sophia Maur 21 Stephen Maur 26 William Maur 55 There is a hand-written entry which looks like 'nephew'. Don't know if this is your Robert. It looks like it could be his mother's family. I'll keep looking.

Sorry - of course the name doesn't tie up with the mother's name you gave. I was going too fast!

Elizabeth Thank you for trying. This is a very tricky 1 because i thought i had found him when i looked at where Agnes Amelia North lived i 1871 in 1871 census lived 3 new peter street westminster london.RG10/119 folio 71 page 29. there was a Robert Cox lived next door but marriage certificate details of father do not add up, so had to scrap that idea. regards lizz
