I think these were Enock`s brother and sister-in-law. I can`t find Enock on the 1881 census. Mary was 33 when she died. I have her death certificate, she died at Cobden Street. Wolverhampton. I don`t know if this was their home address. Irene

Thanks for all your replies. Mary and Enoch were married in Bradmore, Wolverhampton. Their children were Thomas and Alice. I know there are many Watkins in Wales, but I have no idea where she came from. Mary died in 1880. Irene

A tinman worked with tin, also known as a Tinsmith. You say you don't no where she came from but you have her marriage cert so where did she get married, that would be a good place to start your search for her Roy

I am looking for information on my g/grandmothers family. Her name was Mary Watkins. On her marriage certificate, her father was listed as William Watkins and his occupation was, tinman. I have looked on 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 census, but can find no link to the family. I also don`t know where they came from. Does anyone what a tinman was?
