It was mentioned on TV tonight that the Petition for the Abolition of Slavery can be viewed online. This was on the Manchester BBC local news. Anyone know where to see it, or is it not online yet? Cheers M. |

I heard that on the radio this morning too. I'm sure it was a BBC website (the one I heard). Could what you are looking for be here somewhere - http://www.bbc*co.uk/history/british/abolition/ |

Thanks Jacqueline, Will have a look. I know they were hoping to find descendants from those who had signed the petition, was intrigued as to whether any of mine may have signed. M. |
