Well, MY Eleanor was missing on the 1871 census, and eventually found staying at her grandparents, described as Helen, and with the wrong birth year! (She was known as Ellen, for the rest of her life) There were several other grandchildren there too, so I think grandad just got a bit confused about their birthdays. OC |

I've got one of these in 1891. Busy trying to find him in hospitals and/or other institutions but have been warned that he might just be entered under inititals. Families - who'd have them? T.O.R. ;o)) |
