How do you know if a person has made a Will.

You can search the national probate calendar, its generally held at larger RO's mainly up to 1943 but a few have later. Holborn in London have to date I believe. These are the RO's that are known to hold it, but check with others nearer to you if they arent on the list http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/Probate.html

Is there anywhere you can search to see if a person has actually made a Will and gone to probate.
