Also Hannah Foster THe further back in time, I find it more likely they were baptised where they were married. try searching at www(dot) familysearch.com - go to search and then International Genealogical Index. IGI Individual Record FamilySearch™ International Genealogical Index v5.0 British Isles HANNAH FOSTER Event(s): Birth: Christening: 07 APR 1764 Saint Matthew, Walsall, Stafford, England Parents: Father: THOMAS FOSTER Family Mother: SARAH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's a very easy seach engine to use. Do remember there are different kinds of entries - extracted records -directly from the parish records or bishops transcripts which are very reliable and more accurate than LDS patron submissions which can be wildly inaccurate sometimes. You should visit an LDS library, anyone can and view the microfilm of the St Matthews registers - usually it includes parish chest materials, banns, burials and all sorts of interesting annotations to the bare details inlcuded in the index. I remember one burial which include the note 'shot by John Smith' which makes one wonder what exactly was going on.... and poor Isaac Worner '(death) occaisioned by a waggon' Diane |
