Hi I went to my local records office and they have a book about Alumi of both Oxford and Cambridge, it is alphabetical and very easy to find if you have the surname. Ancestry also list that as a research tool. :-) Good luck Marcia |

Barbara Both Universities keep records back to the year dot... :) There must be an historian/archivest linked to each so I would suggest contacting them as a start. Good luck! Chris |

This is only a guess but in the 20's I think there were only a few colleges at Oxford or Cambridge which accepted women. You could try googling both universities, might have some historical info on women's colleges? Alex |

Is there a way of finding out which university someone attended/ I have a great aunt who was awarded a history degree from either Oxford or Cambridge some time in the 20's but no-one knows which university it was. anyone have any ideas? |
