what is a husbandman ?

On several of my certificates, some of the mens occupations say Husbandman, would that be like a housewife? Many thanks, Sally |

A husbandsman is someone who tends or cares for animals such as a shepherd for sheep. The term is used for someone who tends any animal |

LOL Sally, they werent that emancipated then. I have some husbandmen - mine are small tenant farmers. |
