Can anyone read what the last column says for Theodor Bessunger in 1871? Many thanks, Rose

I think it says Foreign The census taker must have equated that with being dumb, blind, imbeciel or whatever!!!!!!!!

Thanks Sylvia. The interesting thing is two of his sons with his mistress went on to develop a hereditary muscle wasting disease. I'm trying to figure out if it came from Theodore's side or his mistresses. Rose
