Julie Report 20 Mar 2007 11:16

I have been trying to find out more information about my paternal Great Grandmother, Hannah Hazlehusrt (born circa 1870) She appears on the 1891 Census living with her parents and young son Thomas, on Low Street, Carlton in Lindrick, Nottinghamshire. She later gave birth to my Grandfather, William Herbert Hazlehurst, on 21st August 1900, but on the 1901 Census there is no sign of Hannah or my Grandfather. The Census does show her elder son Thomas still living with his Grandparents though, even though I know that my Great grandmother raised both children in the same village. So......why are Hannah an Herbert both missing from the 1901 Census. Anyone got any ideas as to where they might be and why they dont show up anywhere? MAny Thanks for helping me to try and solve my little family mystery Julie
