Can someone please tell me where Birkenshaw is? It turned up on a death certificate and as I am in Australia it's not a place I'm familiar with. Thank you. Susan |

Hi Susan, Birkenshaw is near Bradford in West Yorkshire. If you have a map with the M62 on, its between the M606 and M621 turn offs, south east of Bradford. |

Thank you both. Just trying to place where the informant (a relative) was at the time of my 2 x great grandmother's death. I appreciate your time. Susan |

Well there is a Birkenshaw in England, but there are at least three in Scotland. If you are abroad and don't know your way around the UK then www.streetmap(.)co(.)uk is a good start. Remove brackets from web address. |
