I have 3 possibles, found on the family search site, for the Birth of Joseph Latham, said to be 35 on the 1841 census. How do I/can I decide which,if any, are him. Two were born in Birmigham about 1795, one was born in Austry Warks in 1807. Joseph maried for the 1st time in 1823 at ST Martins Birmingham, but his 1st child was christened at ST Phillips. He went on to have another relationship, cannot find evidence of a second marriage, and have a number of other children, these too were all christened at ST Phillips-any tips you can give me would be gratefully received!!!! |

Well assuming that we are talking about extracted info on the IGI rather than submitted. First thing to do is check if any of these guys died before your chap married! |

Well, a vague pointer being, if his father is named on the IGI, any of the kids, preferably the first or second got the same name? |

Joseph was'nt around for the 1851 census, and his 1st son was named after himself |
