What is the chance of there being children from that marriage or do you not know. I will check all births for Jones from 1937 til 1943 when Freda married your granddad. Fern -x-. |

Hi GA, She married my grandfather (Frederick Mabey) in 1943 In Romsey! All we know is that Nan had to wait 7 years to get her first divorce before she could marry Grandpa, this takes us back to 1936.... the first husband was a 'bad man' so therefore I am only assuming it would have been a fairly short marriage??? Freda K Rogers married Albert E Jones in March qtr 1937 in Romsey. Here is Freda's birth: Births Jun 1908 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rogers Freda Kate Romsey 2c 108 GA. |

Hi all, I'm a bit rusty at this! I am trying to find record of my grandmother's first marriage, and I'm not sure of the easiest way to do it! Freda Kate Rogers married a Mr Jones around 1935 give or take a few years! They may have met and married while she worked in service in London, but her family were born and raised around Romsey in Hampshire so she could have married here too?!! Please help! My Mum really wants to know as she may have siblings she knows nothing about...! Many thanks, Leanne xx |
