Right click on the image file and select Open with from the list, you can then select which program it opens in. If you want to always open the image in that program let me know on list and i'll tell you. Ron www*genealogyprinters*com |

I have been trying to work out which of the Microsoft programmes is the photo editor (believe it or not, when I go into where you add or remove programmes it is NOT discernable). Whenever I try to open one of the records the Microsoft Photo editor rears its head. I will try and find Adobe. Thank you Pauline. Victoria |

Not sure what you need, but try downloading Adobe photo. I know whenever I want to see something adobe pops its head up on my desk top. I used to get irritated but I like it now. |

Given that embroidery, knitting and wall-washing are beyond my present capabilities [I broke my left thumb last week] I was turning my attentions to transcribing parish records today. I have, in the past, opened up the file with the thousandish images, double clicked on the image needing transcription and it would open up. The imagines open in Microsoft Photo Editor. I seem to have done something that now prevents that. I have tried right clicking on the open option - nothing. I have tried to open images from the cd (rather than the version saved on my hard drive) - with the same result. Having done everything in my very limited repertoire [apart from throwing the laptop] I am desperately hoping someone out there will be able to suggest something! Hopeful Victoria |
