I asked someone to do me a look up for this, Marriage of Frederick A Cooper to Nellie E Benham and they found it on ancestry Oct - Dec 1925 St Pancras Vol 1b Page 59 why cant i find it

You need to be searching the complete BMD index range, by the sounds of it you are looking at the partial index. From the homepage look down to the and beneath the heading 'more collections' you will see England & Wales BMD Indexes...click on this then choose from the Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983 either marriage, death or birth to search

Robert you need to check the COMPLETE index, not the FreeBMD partially transcribed index, look below the advert at the top of the page, Complete BMD index. 1837-1983. You then have to enter a name and year, then check quarter by quarter. PS Dec quarter 1925 IS missing for marriages.

because you are searching the (Partial FreeBMD Indexes & Images 1837-1983) you need to search the (Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983) but you search these quarter by quarter Roy

why cant i find marriage records for 1925 on ancestry. It only goes to 1915
