Lamination gradually eats away at paper. Buy some acid free envelopes and keep them in the dark Gwynne |

do you mean you really want them preserved? If so ,if they were mine i would scan them in first and print off copies . then i would take the originals and get them laminated. that would preserve them but you wont be able to use them again, You would have the copies tho for every day use. Just one suggestion. Shirley |

Hi, I'm looking for tips on how best to preserve records, I have in my possesion 2 original BC's for my GMother & GAunt dated 1887 & 1912 as you can guess through use and time they are very delicate. As they are hierlooms now I'd like to preserve for my grandkids etc. Any tips? Ta Kevin |
