How do I find information on someone that I have n

I am trying to find information on a family member and the only information I have is an address where he lived in the early 1950's, his occupation and a DOB between 1905 to 1912. I have looked at all the general sites but without confirming his DOB, place of birth or knowing if this was his full name I have been unable to go any further. I was hoping that someone more experienced in Family Trees searches may have been able to advise other sites that I am not aware of or perhaps there is a site where I can confirm that the address I have is correct and would perhaps give me extra details. Any help would be greatly appreciated |
