I don't know why familysearch ignored your qualifiers, I never have any problem limiting results. Which resource were you searching? OC |

I am really ticked off ,when doing an online search why do forms ask for such details as year of birth, country and county of events, name of spouse, names of parents etc then blatently ignore that information and throw up results from everywhere and time?so that you still have to trawl through them for relevance it seems to happen on several sites with some results not even being arranged in order of relevance.I did a search on this site with hot matches and was told there were over 300 results but adding the county of birth narrowed it to 5 that was even though place of birth was already in my details! a search in family search ignored the addition of england and showed me reults from canada and america as well.Anyone else having this problem? |
