I am trying to find a marriage between a owen edward saunders (died 2nd world war) approx 1943.... and a edith ivy saunders nie brown. I have been on find my past and just cant find it! Is it possible to fake birth certificates and that this man wasnt my uncles father atall? any help would be grateful thank u Janet |

It says on my uncles birth cert that this man died 2 months before he was born(quite sad really) and my uncle was born october 1943, this oven edward saunders was a corperal of the american airforce (so it says on his birth cert) thank u janet |

It may be that the mother lied when registering the birth, to cover up the child's illegitimacy. The registrar can only record the information he is given......... Reg |
