Hi Lindy, from the 1861 Census I posted on your other thread, the boys were born in: Charles Parsons 5 b. ca 1856, Newington, Surrey Charlotte Parsons 33 b. ca 1828, London Rd, St George, Surrey Charlotte Parsons 5 Mo b. ca 1860, Newington, Surrey Joseph Parsons 13 b. ca 1848, Newington, Surrey ....... this could mean anywhere other than Lambeth. I also looked for you to see if I could find the birth record ............ there are at least 3 Charles Williams born in the perod 1854 to 1857 in the London area, and a number of Josephs ....... so a problem!! What puzzles me is the long gap between Joseph and Charles William ....... 8 years is a long time for those days!! |

I did wonder if there were any others in between but at the moment have no way of knowing. Not really sure where to go from here. I don't really want to send for certs. unless I'm reasonably sure it's the right one. Another one that seems to be missing is the death registration for Harry Parsons DOB 02/03/1913 he died in his 20's unmarried, I can't find anything for him either. Think I'll give up for tonight and start afresh tomorrow. Thanks for your help. Linda |
