Debra, Search on Crof instead of Croft to get a match in 1933. It's Harriett Croft. Ancestry doesn't always display the correct page if there's a handwritten amendment at the bottom of the page. It throws off the alphabetical listing. Rose

I am trying to find the name of my mums step mum, My mums dad was Robert Benson from Barton upon Irwell, my mums mum died 1930. I have found a Robert Benson from Barton married a Croft, April quarter 1933 but when I reversed the names to Croft there was no marriage that year it was 1934 to a lillian Croft any ideas as to why it only shows up in one surname could 1933 be the same people as 1934? I am newish to this. Thanks Debbie
