I am really new at this and i have no family alive now to help. I am looking for help or sites that i maybe able to help me.. I am looking for info on my grandfather John Leaver born b1851 in London ( lamberth i think) he was married to Shadiwood Hurst b1880 i assume from London too. They had my father Arthur John Leaver b1902 and my uncle William b1904....What is puzzling me is William had a wife Doris Surname not known and thay had Vivienne b1938 before they divorced/ she died? then iam sure he married another Doris Henderson b1904c and had an Alan b1945 and a Wendy 1947. Hi if John Leaver did not marry Shadwood Hurst untill 1913 was Arthur & William born out of wedlock.. I am thinking that as John Leaver was alot older than Shadiwood had he been married before.. Let me do some digging and i will get back to you John.. Colette

Hi John what was Johns occupation There was in 1891 at Pimlico Walk Shoreditch.. Head Henry Rogers age 57 Tallow Chandler b Chelsea Wife Sarah age 69 b Beth Green Step Son John Leaver age 38 Boot Maker b Clerkenwell. There is another one in London who was married.. but if you can confirm his occ that would be great.. Colette

Hi John William F Leaver married Edith J Chipling Lambeth July-Sept 1933 certificate no...1d 547 No children untill Vivienne A Leaver birth reg Woolwich 1938 1d 1331.mother Chipling... I dont know if you have been given the wrong information regarding his first wife being caled Doris, this is the only Chipling-Leaver William marriage in the years before Viviennes birth.. I guess getting her birth cert would be a good idea ! The name Shaddy Or Shadiwood is very rare was she English ???.. do you know her birth year or any other information that may help.. Colette

Hi all i have sent John personal messages and have gone right back with both families Shaddy died in 1919 and her age matches up to being born 1875.. plus her father was called Arthur..the name she gave her son.. John Leavers father was called William he too was a Boot Maker they resided for many years at Pimlico Walk. Colette
