I am looking for a kind soul who would be willing to look up the 1861 census for Darlington and area, for a young widow by the name of Elizabeth Bowman. She was born around 1822-25 so she would have been about 36 - 39 born in Darlington, She had at least a son Richard who would have been abt 16 so may not have been in the household, he may have been born in Gateshead or Darlington. Also a son Thomas age abt 12, and then a son John (my gt grandfather) born Dec 1856 so would have been abt 4. Any kind help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks in advance for your kind help. |
