The BIVRI doesn't have the same information as the IGI. It mainly covers 1528-1888 and compliments the IGI with very few records appearing on both. Coverage is not comprehensive and varies from county to county. Sam x |

I recently bought The LDS, British Isles Vital Records Index, and am under the oppinion that i have blank discs, as of yet i have found nothing that has been of any help to me at all, I have got quite a lot of info off the normal LDS site yet this information isnt on my discs. Id be really interested to know what others think, and if any one has had the same problem. On the other hand if im doing something wrong please say! Sharon |
