Thank you everyone for your efforts. The reason I looked at this marriage was because I was looking for Mary McDermott who married Owen Cooney in 3rd quarter 1870 at Wolverhampton. I thought she might be Peter and Fannys daughter Mary J but I now have doubts as I think their daughter may be married on the 1881 census to William Beards. In which case who is Mary Cooney? I know I have to buy certs but am trying to avoid buying the wrong ones. Also I can't find the Cooneys anywhere in 1891 although I have them in Wton in 1881. Is it possible the whole family missed the census? I have Owen in 1901 living with his daughter Mary A Beddows so he was alive in 1891. Can anyone find him or anything about wife Mary? Thanks for looking for the Cooneys for me. After much thought I don't think it is either the Manchester Cooneys which shows a daughter Mary E born about 1886 when my Owen had a Mary born 1872 who definitely lived to be my grandma. Also the other children are not ringing any bells. The Queeneys was an intriguing idea but they were at the same place in 1881 and I have a record for my Owen in 1881 so the question remains - who is Mary where is she?
