Stranraer is in Wigtownshire, but in the census it is usually listed the town itself

Stranraer is a fairly large port/town, so would be listed separately, I would have thought. Entirely possible that the LDS have not filmed any records for the town.......... The county would be Wigtownshire Reg

Looking on the LDS for someone in Scotland in Stranraer, but doesnt have it on it. Which place in Scotland would Stranraer come under. Much appreciated Yvonne
