Stranraer is in Wigtownshire, but in the census it is usually listed the town itself |

Stranraer is a fairly large port/town, so would be listed separately, I would have thought. Entirely possible that the LDS have not filmed any records for the town.......... The county would be Wigtownshire Reg |

Looking on the LDS for someone in Scotland in Stranraer, but doesnt have it on it. Which place in Scotland would Stranraer come under. Much appreciated Yvonne |
