Maureen, His name was JOHN ROBERTS BUT I THINK HE MAY HAVE JOINED THE SHIP USING THE NAME JOHN MAWDSLEY, or variations of the spelling. Thanks Kathlyn

My grandfather went as a deckhand to Australia about 1892ish. he was not experienced, in fact he left home because he did not get on with his stepfather. he would have joined a ship in Liverpool and when he returned approx. 2 years later, they docked in the London Royal group of Docks. Where can I look to find when he went, the ships name etc. date of departure and return???? Kathlyn
