It is down at the moment, I am interested in what Findmypast is offering though, without all the BMD/Census stuff (apart from births at sea/abroad, deaths abroad/sea, marriages at sea/abroad). I can only afford a monthly subscription, and will ask for lookups in Findmypast if they don't offer a monthly sub. Can anyone elighten me as to the databases on offer on familyrelatives Steve

Steve familyrelatives have a lot of that sort of info free at the moment.

Steve, Knowing that I was just starting on researching my ancestors I decided to pay the one off subscription, £70ish, as I knew there would be many many searches. This proved to be invaluable as there were so many brickwalls, blind alleys, inexperience on my part, etc etc. I'm positive that given the searches I made it would have cost me a lot more buying vouchers etc. Regards Mevr

You can have a one-off, or buy units in various multiples. All the options are fully detailed on the website. To find out what the site offers.....have a look at it, then compare with Ancestry. Don't forget that all England/Wales bmd's are on Ancestry...........free to all. Reg
