I would think this person is hoping that you will provide him with all the info you have.........not sure if you'll get any info in return...... Reg

sounds to me as if they just want your work. Can you send them an outline of the bare facts, ie Inital and surname in a straight line? This way you may get something back.

Hiya.,i contacted someone about my partners family tree as they are both descended from the same couple letting him know the connection and asking who he is directly descended from and this is the reply i got.....Thanks for the email - it would appear that I don't have this line in my tree, are you able to forward me the relevant info and sourcing details? I'd previously contacted this person on GR and sent him all the info but he obviuosly forgotten cos he never got back to me.Not quite sure if i'm taking it the wrong way but it appears to me hes just asking for the info and not answering my question and i'm not sure if i'm happy to just give the info over.Any advice will be much appreciated as i said am i taking what was said the wrong way
