Derek: the period you are looking at is after the end of online searches on ScotlandsPeople (as you have probably worked out already). The only way to locate info. on these folk is to search the registers in Edinburgh. If you google 'Scotlands Family Tree' you should find a site of that name where there are helpful people who can perhaps suggest what to do next. J

A good old battle cry, Wallace me thinks. this is my battle, to find brother and sister Margaret and Peter Watt, both born mid nineteen twenties in Sandbank St, Maryhill, Glasgow. Margaret I met on several occasions, but never saw Peter. I have a photo of him in army uniform (WW2), I heard today that he married during the war, divorced shortly after, went to USA and married, two children and died there. When I was living in his home in early 1953, I was totally unaware of his existance. He was never mentioned. OK folks, where do I go from here, please help, Derek in France
