I think both Jones & Davies are Welsh names but very common, think this is going to be a tough one. Have you tried Wales 1901? Selena |

I am trying to find out the births & consequently more info about my g grandparents. Unfortunately I have no grandparents left to ask. I have their marriage cert details are: Marriage 11/03/1911 - Chester Registry Office Robert Jones - aged 24 - collier - 86 Westminster Road Hoole - Father John jones - collier Hannah Davies - aged 25 - 28 Prescott street Hoole - Father David Davies - Wheelwright Witnesses - W F Mather & Elizabeth Mather I have searched 1901 census in Hoole but they were not there then. As you can see very common name. Any advice or help most welcome. :-{ |
