Hi Is anyone out there having problems printing their trees from this site, only everytime I try, I go through all the rigmarole and when I press print it comes up with 'an error occured when trying to print' , I thought it might have been my browser (Mozilla) so I tried IE, however that doesn't even come up with the error message. If everything else fails does anyone know of a programme were you can print all of your tree? Ta Kevin

Hi Kevin, any offline tree programme should enable you to print your tree, I use FTM, but have never tried the free PAF from the LDS site, I think that would do it as well.

Thanks Keith I run Roots Magic and also Master Geneologist, however they will only print direct line ancestors, what I'm after is a program that will print everyone in the whole tree, as you view on this site. Only this site won't let me print!!!!!!!!! Cheers anyway Kevin

FTM will print an hourglass tree of all generations if you want, very flexible.

Just looking through, as I'm a novice, and looking for any tips which will help me, as it's all a mystery at the moment. Can I ask - what's FTM, PAF and LDS???

Hello Barbara and welcome, FTM is the Family Tree Maker genealogy programme (tree), LDS is the Church of the Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church) PAF is Personal Ancestral File, the free programme produced by the LDS for use by their members and others who wish to use it.

Thanks Keith, I'll save that info till I learn what to do with it - it's a slow process, but a steep learning curve!
