Hi Anna Don't use the site where certificates are £19. You can order them online from [email protected] and request a standard delivery and that will cost you £7 or if you wish to telephone the General Register Office on 0845 603 7788 it will cost you £8.50. |

Is the only way to get information from birth certificates to order copies of them? I found a site that does this, but for £19 for each certificate I would need to win the lottery to look up all the people I'm interested in! Thank you |

I think the site you have found is probably just ordering the cert then passing the info on to you, you can order certs from the gro it cost £7 or most registry offices where the BMD took place do certs for around the same price Roy |
