Hi Has anybody ever applied for and got records for a patient in Claybury Asylum in Ilford? I have been given an admission date but I was hoping for more. I’m sure I’ve read about people getting more detailed records and in some cases even a photo of ancestors who were in mental institutions. Could it be because he died in 1923 which is less than 100 years ago? He was admitted in 1893, which is over 100 years ago, so would they tell me why he was admitted? Also would they tell me where he was buried (if they know)? Thanks Lyndsey
