Is there any way to default the size of your items in a folder? They always come up as large icons - I prefer contents of a folder to be in a list.

on the folder, you can click on view and change it to differnt settings like list, detail etc

Stephanie, I'm hoping to find a way to make them STAY as a list, rather than revert back to large icons...... and also if there is a way to do them all at once, rather than go into each individual folder and change them.

Stephanie....that is exactly what I was looking for, only problem is - I still have Windows 98. Will do some further looking to see if I can find it for my version, but will keep that page bookmarked, for when I move into the 21st century on my computer!!
