Paul - on FreeBMD you can find the people who appear on the same page in the register. In the early days there were 8 people (ie 4 couples) and later there were just two couples. BUT the important thing to know is that they just appear in alphabetical order! The only way to find out who married who is to buy the certificate. Anne

Hi Paul Have looked on Freebmd and they are the names of the people that married that day, she's found a possible marriage for you and reference which you can then order, if you believe it is one of your relatives Elaine

Can anyone help me to establish when an ancestor was married?They are William Nicholas born about 1866 to a Samuel Nicholas and Emma.--- Williams spouse was Ann Jane Deegan born abt 1867 to Laurence and Martha Deegan in Dublin,but Living in W.Derby Liverpool at the time of their Marriage.I,ve tried all sorts to track them and now I need to ask the experts out there to help me again !
