Are the parish records only Church of England or all denominations? I have lots of Catholics in my family, where would I find these records? Thank you

the Catholic church wont release their records to Family search site ie the Mormons . They usually kept their records' in house,'you best bet ,if you know the area involved is to contact the local church and ask them where their old records are Shirley

Filled Registers are kept at the local Register Office

An Olde Crone

An Olde Crone Report 8 Mar 2007 21:10

The Register Office does not have any copies of church registers of any denominations, other than for marriages. Some Records Offices do have copies of RC registers, but these are usually old ones. The RC church does not normally deposit registers with anyone other than their own 'head office'. OC
