Good evening...just switched on Computer to see red exclamation mark on icon for Norton Internet Security. Brought up the programme and Auto protect is off and won't switch on. Never had this before. Any advice? Should I be worried. I have just done a full scan on computer. Many thanks. Liz |

try rebooting if that dosent work then do your live updates.then do a full scan. you may picked a virus that has disabled it.if all fails go to the Symantec site and see if the problem is listed. you can also phone them for help. you do need the auto protect on. Shirley |

They have recently updated the 'live update files'. I had something similar until I followed the links to update it. try the 'Live Update' at the top of the Norton main page. If not, go to the Symantec site for a link. |

Thanks folks! It needed rebooting to become active. This morning I've switched on and all is protected....Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Liz |
