Jackie Any idea exactly where in the States the was born or parents names. I have looked on 1870 1860 and 1850 American census and no one jumps out at me. Sue |

If you get his marriage certificate, it should say who his father was. You'd then be able to find them on the US census. Marriages Dec 1874 Goodall Henry Augustus O Wright Sarah Kensington 1a 142 |

I have found my Great Grandfather Henry Augustus Goodall in 1881 & 1891 UK census records as an adult, I know he was born in the South Western United states in 1851.In brackets it says British Subject. I cannot find him earlier than that. Anyone any ideas how I might trace when he came back to UK, or his parents. Thanks Jackie |
