Advice needed on downloading tree.

Hello,Can someone help me i am confussed.If someone has been kind enough to allow you to view their family tree and you have permission to download their tree how do you do so!.I have done my own tree but cant see how you can download someone else's.Many thanks. |

You need a program on your computer to import the tree into. You can get a free one on the LDS familysearch site or you can buy a Family Tree Maker program or other from sites like twr computing.(The family tree maker often comes with a free sub for a month or even 3 with ancestry - worth every penny). Having said that I cant see how you could download someone elses tree on here - they would have to send you the gedcom surely. |
