Hi Linda The Pub on the left is called The Star and they do nice lunches and further down past the Malden Rushett crossroads is The Monkey Puzzle which is a Beefeater (also quite nice). The road from the M25 is the A243 if that's any help. Carolyn

OK Linda, for simplicity, I will assume you are both coming in opposite directions, in which case, both leave at Leatherhead junction and head towards Chessington, Surbiton and Kingston etc. Just shortly up the road is a quiet little pub on the left (can't remember name) or continue over crossroads to Chessington Zoo and there is a large Harvester type restaurant/pub also on the left just by the road. Have a good day, Derek

Hi Linda, Leatherhead is not ideal for anyone coming by train. Even Dorking is quite a hike. So first off, what system of transport are you using? ie both parties, Derek

I was born in Leatherhead but left there in 1998. A bit of a dump now and I believe it came top in a survey of worst towns/High Streets some years ago. Maureen
