I have Mary McCall bn Lincoln c1838 possibly with her parents Thomas and Elizabeth, what I would like to know is what district of Lincoln she is in at this time it may help me to find the parish in which she married Sue Many thanks |

Have you actually found them on a census or is this from IGI? I can't find a Mary McCall in Lincoln. Ozi. |

Hi Ozi I found her on census 1861 with her husband Rueben Hare I don't want to trawl though all the parish's in Lincoln I would like to narrow it down a bit, she married in 1860 Lincoln district |

Thomas and Elizabeth were in the St Swithin district in both 1841 and 1861 - I would think that would be your best bet. |

Correct Lynne.That is her. If I knew the area she may of been in 1851 that would maybe narrow it down a bit in Lincoln I go to the record office I can get it from there. Thankyou all for looking Do you have her on 1851 Lynne |

I am always too late to help. If you use Ancestry, and find the person you want, and pull up the original image, there is a bar at the top of the screen that tells you all you need to know about the area of registration, the county, the town/parish etc, right down to a description of the area covered by the census.
