FRANK JACKSON b 1899 Islington, London was at the time of the death of his Father (1955) living at 51, Portland Place, Hove. Father then living in North London. Son reported the death. Is anybody able to check local records to find out if he was married, when he died, any children or ANY information I would be grateful. His Father was Frederick James Jackson. His Mother Mabel Alice Jackson(neeDavis). As far as I know Frank was the only child although I do recall the mention of a FLORRIE Jackson when I was a child. I am in New Zealand. I have tried local newspapers. The Brighton records office will only do checks of three years and I do not know exactly when he died or Where! Many thanks, Roger

Hi Roger, I travel within Brighton and Hove area regularly, and have done research at the Brighton Family history place in the past. I remembered this thread from a few weeks ago, but realised youd typed a different address this time, last time you named 21 Portland Avenue as Franks address at the time of his fathers death. Both roads exist ,Portland Avenue being off Portland Road, if you can confirm the correct one, next time i do research in Brighton i will do look up for you Nicky Roger, Ive pm d you with results i found earlier.
