I've just seen on the tips board about the risk of having your family tree available to anyone to see.I ticked for my tree to be there for anyone to look at and now realize that was not a good idea.trouble is I cant see where in the site I need to go to make it unavailable. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Please. Paul |

Hi Paul As far as I'm aware, you give access to your tree on an individual basis - click on 'Messages' then 'Your Contacts', you will see listed all the contacts to whom you have given access to your tree, and you can uncheck them one by one. What I've also done is to hide my relatives back 120 years. To do this you need to click on 'My Account Details', type in your password, and the option is at the bottom of the first section that comes up. This doesn't hide you though, so give only brief information about yourself. BW Karen |
