but i did, just managed to marry to brothers to each other. Both already in my year and was trying to add a partner to one and ended up with his brother...anyone know how to fix it? |

Can't you just change the name and year Mhairi. Have you put it on tree on GR. I have managed to change one before. Betty |

It is my tree on GR Betty. Just had to delete one of the brothers and then put his back in...but would really like to know how i did it, i have a couple of siblings marrying siblings and would love to attach them. I never thought you could do it on the GR tree... Mhairi |

Hi Mhairi, Either I am not following what you are saying or its something different to what I am thinking about. Anyway where you have the female married to the wrong brother you just click on his detalis and change it at the bottom where it comes up with all his information ie name, year of marriage etc. This changes it in the box above. I have put the wrong brothers name in with the wrong female before, I just chamged them round. Easy mistake to do when you have a large family. Betty |

My situation was William Wright and his siblings are in my gr tree. When trying to add a spouse to William i somehow managed to connect him with his younger brother, Rankin. As in, when i clicked on William his spouse was Rankin and when clicking on Rankin, William appeared as his spouse. It was really weird...and i have no idea what i pressed. Have sorted it by deleting William and then just putting him back in. Mhairi |

had the same problem yesterday was adding father to one of the rellies who had the same name. got a note that was having problems connecting to genes when i hit on update. then had the father the same year as the son . and wouldnt let me alter. After many attempts I gave up and left the tree . checked back later and it had righted itself!!. Shirley |
